The Huawei Matebook 16S computer is one of the brand's first models to adopt a 12th generation Intel Core CPU. As a reminder, the MateBook 16 is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor. However, it served as the basis for the 16 s. Moreover, this laptop was launched a few months before the MateBook 16s.

The manufacturer has also made significant improvements in heating management.

In terms of design, this model brings the power button closer to the hinge instead of integrating it into the speaker cover. The MateBook 16s also marks the return of the lens to the front, at the top of the screen. On earlier models, the pop-up camera was placed between the F6 and F7 keys.

The Huawei MateBook 16s computer joins the Chinese giant's catalog in the summer of 2022. It is released simultaneously with the latest version of the MateBook D16. Thus, the manufacturer currently has around ten high-performance models in its range of laptops.

In addition, the brand remains on the lookout for innovations in the field and updates its laptops if necessary. The same series can therefore offer different configurations to adapt to technological developments and user needs. Finally, the manufacturer aims to maintain its historic low-cost positioning and extend its offer to the top of the range.

It will thus be able to cover all segments, from entry-level to premium laptops.
